Daylight Savings Time
Spring Forward, Fall Back
as the saying goes to remind us that we lose an hour in the Spring and get that interest-free loan of one hour's time back at the end of the Summer or mid-Autumn.
This year, Daylight Savings Time ended at 2 a.m. on Sunday November 1, 2009.
That's when Eastern Standard Time returned to Toronto and is the one day of the year Torontonians get the fabled more than 24 hours in one day!
