Toronto current City Hall is often referred to as New City Hall to differentiate it from Old City Hall which is right across the street. Old City Hall currently houses Provincial Courts, though that is going to stop soon as The CIty has not renewed the lease to the Province.
The City Hall complex includes East Tower, West Tower, and Council Chambers under The Clamshell.
The Public Square in front of New City Hall is named Nathan Phillips Square after Nathan Phillips, a former Mayor.
